Our story

Malawi's Own Pizza

Jungle Pepper is one of Blantyre's best-loved restaurants, known across Malawi as "Malawi's Own Pizza." Family-run by two Portuguese sisters, it brings together a wood-fired pizzeria and an authentic Portuguese kitchen in a leafy, family-friendly courtyard, bringing together African warmth and the charm of a Porto & Lisbon bistro.

Order from a big spread of wood-fired pizzas and Portuguese plates, including frango de churrasco, prego steak rolls, prawns and bacalhau, plus fresh-baked treats made daily, from pastéis de nata to the signature chocolate cake. There's a coffee garden for lingering, plus a playground and chalkboard wall for the little ones.
